I have a 96 F350 4x4. The inner shaft seal on the driver's side has
been leaking for some time now, and now that I've done the front brakes,
I've got some experience with going that deep into the axle. My Haynes
manual has little useful information about this axle, which is very
frustrating because I can't get a decent idea of what issues I'm going to
run into as I head in. I don't have the time to have this truck down for
any longer than absolutely necessary and don't want any surprises.
Any tips here, or good sources of information? Haven't found much on
the web to go on.
Thanks!
