Interesting, as when on my manual , the HI LO switch failed , I do not remember it causing an issue. I only found it wa broken using a nanocom for testing the switch output.

Cheers
Yeah, for High box, it's a normally open contact, so if it does fail, it stays in High mode.

It can fail both ways, stuck in Hi or Low, i've seen them both but for erratic Low input it's usualy a short to earth via the spade connector or wiring, then with the gear in Hi the management goes to the Low gear fuel map which mans overfuelling in Hi

Hi Sierrafery - do you have any wise tips to solve my issue? Many thanks!

.... Nanocom logged the error - 21,6, problem detected with driver (charming!) demand....
So, the overall readings are OK except accel way 3(throttle track) which should fluctuate according to the tolerance between track 1 and 2 but not above 2 while in your reading its always higher than 2... corroborated with the driver demand fault code the problem might be created by the TPS though i checked other logs i have saved in my computer and seen one case quite similar(unfortunately i can't remember what was the symptom then) but in other cases the readings are more normal in the TPS input area even though as long as you have throttle response i'm not sure that track 3 can create such hesitation as you describe but it would be good to be ruled out if you can borrow a known good TPS for test(it's not hard to replace)... from the other readings i can suspect only a fuel supply issue cos they look OK except the MAF which at full boost should be higher... how old is the crankcase depression control valve? cos if you never changed it better put a new one ASAP

many thanks for your reply - can you remind me what TPS is?! Not sure about the crankcase depression control valve - will try to find out if it has been replaced...

Don't think it has been replaced since new. Is it straightforward? Also, could the issue be the fuel pump - even though it starts fine and potters along ok?

Normally if the pump's HP fails it will run but become gutless and not rev above 3000rpm not intermittent, is the fuel filter a new branded one? if not put a good one, for the depression control valve google out LLN100140L, it's on the intake hose a joke to replace, max 3 min job

thank you - will replace that valve. Fuel pump was replaced before I owned car by Land Rover dealer - assume it was a decent one..!

It was all going so well... Had an Alive Tuning remap, new fuel pump, blanked off EGR, replaced wastegate modulator, MAF sensor, injector harness and it was running well. But today as I was overtaking at 65mph it had two or three big shudders before carrying on. Any thoughts?

Have you re read the posts above and looked at what was discussed there?

Cheers

it is an auto, and I did replace that valve. Have also reset Adaptive Values a couple of times.. Think I have done everything suggested apart from the TPS
would a faulty TPS definitely throw up a fault code? Also, you mention the TPS is the whole pedal assembly on the D2 - is the part number LR030567? Expensive!
