Freelander 1 Cutting out underload

Hi all, after some advice after changing the high fuel pressure pump the car will idle perfect until I put it under load at 3000rpm it puts the eml light on and cuts out. Will restart right after this happens eml light goes off but does it again at 3ooorpm.

I have also replaced the low fuel pump, filter and camshaft sensor

I have had leak back done on injectors they all checked out to be good

Any advice will help me much appreciated

Yea it's a fl1 td4
The codes I got are:
P1260
P1190
P0500
P1250
P0190
Got no live data had a friend plug in for me with his reader left me with it not sure how to do live reading

What made you replace the HPFP? What were the symptoms you were trying to fix?

Hpfp had a leak on it didn't know you could do the seals,

Only had this issue after doing the hpfp

P1260 is related to the fuel pump, 0190 is fuel pressure related
P0500 is a speed sensor issue

These could be old codes. Clear them, then run the car and re-read.

They have been cleared car has been run and still cutting out underload at 3000rpm

Check the sensor at the end of the fuel rail.
Also check the wiring harness for it.

I will do that tomorrow also thinking of the crank shaft sensor but can't seem to find it

P1190 code is .. "Governor / fuel plausibility deviation at high (engine) speed"
[ 'govenor' i assume is the engine computer unit ] ..
i had that .. turned out to be a worn out hpfp , i think it were due to water-in-fuel.

looking at my notes .. i also saw .. 'P1190 valve sticking' .. i.e. the fuel regulator on the hpfp.
that particular fault happened on a replacement hpfp , bought from local landy dealership.
however symptoms were different ..
engine started and idled .. but touch the go-pedal 'n the engnine would shut down.

It was leaking so replaced it but will get another one tomorrow and try that and also sensor at end of common rail

No it was a reconditioned
