Seen this before with the extra plate on bottom, do this bolt into threaded holes on underside of crossmember ? I'm sure I've got one of them somewhere.
yes a piece of angle bolts to captive nuts under cross member
Mine came off the vehicle but Im sure it must have been bolted on at some time, will ask the PO if he remembers.
it must have one if the bracket was bolted up any higher youd struggle opening the door
