Dear Defender owners,
The plastic connector on one of my fuel lines, where it connects to the fuel filter housing metal pipes is so worn out that it starts to slide under pressure (caused a loss of half a tank of diesel on a short drive). I had just replaced the filter housing with a shiny new one and now this..
I cannot find those plastic connectors (see the white arrow) sold separately. I found this photo on the internet, it's not of mine:
This forum thread maintains that those are not sold separately: https://forums.lr4x4.com/topic/86612-td5-fuel-line-connector-repairreplacement/. Can't find any part number either in the paper Workshop Manual or the lrcat and other such websites.
If they do sell them separately, can You direct me to them, if not, do You think my best bet would be to try to find a used line and cut this bit off, or to buy the whole line replace it (hopefully not too much parts to be removed to get access)..
