Well here it is. Just been and collected this today.
Its a 1998 Discovery 1 3.9 V8 SE with a mere 67k on the clock (which checks out on the VOSA MOT reports). Condition all looks fairly good. Usual few little chips and scratches, roof lining sagging a little due to previous sunroof leak (so they have now been sealed up). Its got the full leather interior with heated electric front seats, 7 seats, Alpine stereo. Engine seems really good, and smooth.
Drove it back 190 miles from London and it didn't miss a beat. Only thing I noticed though was that the interior heater wasn't able to blow HOT air. It only managed a mild warmth, definitely not hot.
Another thing I noticed though under the bonnet, was that part of the airbox, the tube (I assume it was a tube) that comes off the front of the airbox facing the front of the car, has been but off. Why I dont know. Any ideas? Would have took a photo but it was too dark.
So what do you reckon to it?
