There should also be 2 other brake warming lamps lit during the self test - the HDC Active (as well as HDC Error) and the generic Brake warning lamp (brake shoe symbol which should stay on until the hand brake is released I believe).
I was just looking on YouTube for the warning lamp self test sequence. Came across this video of an Autel MD802 clearing the ABS codes on a Freelander. It has a menu of all the LR models, inc Freelander. Selecting Freelander give options for F1 or F2. Selecting F1 gives options for Engine, AT, ABS, Airbag, Instrument Pack, Security, Tail Door, and Exterior Lighting - not sure what it can do on some of them. Selecting ABS gives options for 1998-2000, 2001-2002 and 2002-2004 - once again, not sure why its 2002-2004 not 2002-2006, but at least it does show the 3 different versions of the F1 ABS.
Dunno if it works on the L Series of course even though it shows the right options. Looks like to £135 from these people...
