It took me about 9 hours, working at a leisurely pace, on my own with no lift.

I think the garage book time is something like 5 hours.

If your car is like my car. Give yourself a whole weekend to start the job then give yourself the next weekend to finish the job and another weekend to mop up all the F***ups

has anyone changed the dual mass flywheel to a solid flywheel

A few have. It makes the idle feel slightly different, a bit rougher by all accounts. Once the engine is above idle, it'll smooth down to feel normal.
