Hi all. Just got my first Landy TD4. 2005. Not a stranger to general maintenance . Please be gentle as not tackled this before. I have read lots on this subject the general suggestion being air in the system. Couple of questions. can I bleed clutch from top of engine ie via redo our etc don’t really want to have to get under car if I can help it. Got a bleed kit which should make it easier. Not sure exactly where bleed nipple is. As I say a step by step help guide would be great. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance.

Would anyone start at bleeding the clutch first? I gather there is a bleed nipple on the master cylinder which looks reasonably accessible. Not had a close look yet as weather been terrible but would that be the place to start? If so is the bleed nipple easy to get to?

Have you pumped the pedal to see if the bite point gets higher? If you have and it's made no difference, it probably don't need bleeding.
