P38A Clicking Locks 1995 P38

I am getting a clicking noise coming from the drivers door outstation when doors are unlocked and drivers door open, the car locks and unlocks normally. However it does seem it is trying to lock and unlock. Hard to describe.

I removed outstation and sprayed with electric cleaner etc but got same issue.

Anyone had this or know what it could be?

The Micro switches are IP65 sealed, you cannot spray the contacts.

For clarity I unplugged the 3 plugs from the bottom of the door outstation, sprayed the contacts on them and plugged back in.

Fair enough, but it's usually the actual micro switches that fail. Sometimes it's the little plastic actuator pip that is worn.
