This weekend I was looking for advice on how to get the really tough stained dirt from the previously white roof of my defender and couldn't find anything so at the risk of being obvious, this is what I used! Normal washing products just wouldn't shift it so I used the stuff in the pictures and it came up a treat, 4 years worth of grime came off no problem using this stuff and a nail brush. Then just a rinse with clean water & a sponge and it's good as new-ish!

That stuff is bloody lethal. Get a lung full of it and you will know what I'm talking about. I use it in the house for cleaning tile grout. If it is left too long on gloss paint it is like Nitromor paint stripper.

Love the leaky sunroof and if it doesnt leak yet bet it drops condensation on you in the cold months?

It definitely does leak! Planning on sealing it up as I don't really use it. I can imagine that stuff is pretty lethal if left on for a while! It was a spray then a scrub and then a rinse so no issues so far!

Ah the good old days of driving 110 and 90s:( suffering from constant wet knee syndrome :confused: and never finding where the bloody drip comes from:mad:;)

I, err...I mean the missus, uses various "Astonish" products around the house to great effect. I particularly like their tubs of cleaning paste. It's great at cleaning up metal, glass and paintwork ( if you go easy ) on the Landy and tools.
