Clarke welder

Hopefully this isn't in the wrong section, my discovery 2 needs the inner wing, body mount and an outrigger welding.

I'm going to pick up a welder 2nd hand, I'm a complete newbie to welding but am not afraid to learn. I've found a clarke 135te on Facebook, would this be powerful enough for welding a discovery chassis?

Yes, I've had one of those for years, still going strong. Welded up two land rovers so far, no issues. You can use 0.6mm and 0.8mm wire on these welders. Lots of spares available from Machine Mart.
