Fit LPG and you instantly have a pile of poo! never seen one run right yet Last RRC I got with a mate had 13 Yes 13 New genuine AFM's over a 7 year period after a £2400 professional install with receipts. Add to that the numerious motors that I have seen not working right with LPG I would have to pass infact If i see a v8 for sale with LPG instantly its off my list. The cost saving vs having more problems and or parts failing early I'd steer clear. Simple if you can't afford to feed the V8 buy a diesel. Nowdays Petrol is so much cheaper than diesel at its current rate a V8 may well be cheaper to run than Diesel in a couple of years

Point taken, fuel here is 95ppl and drops to under 50ppl in one country, naturally I fill every crevice when we get it cheap like that

Other people will nodoubt have more experiences but My bro is ex LR mech and in his career he has also never seen one work as it should. An old friend had a 2.25 years and years ago and that was good by all accounts talking sorta late 1980's early 1990's but never a V8 every one that says how cheap it is to run is always phoning up to get them started.

Dont know what maths your using! i have had 2 v8s with lpg and never had a problem, infact i have had more problems with the petrol fuel side of the systems than the LPG , pay 70p per liter apposed to £1.39 fairenough you loose a few bhp and mpg but if your fueling the car as a every day user or big mileage LPG is the only way imho
