My dad holds them highly in the insurance world lol! What ever land rover you buy just make sure you service it regularly... My insurance is with NFU as well they are pretty good as far as I’m aware
My dad knows alot about them and ill do exactly what youve just mentioned. In all seriousness though when you go to buy one, take someone who knows what there looking for, take some goggles and have a good look underneath and in the foot wells etc, if it’s a td5 check it starts nice from cold
I live in York so that would be a travel and a half to those! Im sure ill get one at a decent price. Ill be looking at buying one around the start of December.https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/163705965686

Also i know your the man of 'wisdom' as the case may be, we have got a quote from the NFU for £1870 but the Co Op insurance is £1750, are they any good. the co op that is?Be prepared to travel anyway to get a decent one.... I travelled over 700 miles for my 2a, in a defender towing a trailer
Yeah that is understandable. I guess we will seeI would start looking now, get one in Summer, you do not want to be paying a winter premium. But if you want a good one, then do expect to see a lot of rubbish and travel a lot before you find the good one you want.
Cheers
