Hi guys!
I've been googling my ass off, but can't find any useful information!

My '88 one-ten has a not-so-straight number stamped into the chassis, with british leyland logos at start and end. A few weeks ago the car was re-imported into the Netherlands and with the check to get new plates, the inspector said he doesn't trust the chassis number. He's arguing it was manually stamped in and the logos are not original. Tomorrow I have to come back for a full chassis number investigation.

Now I have to prove these guys, that this is the way that they stamped numbers back then. To do that, it would help very much if I had some photos with one-ten/ninety/defender chassis stamped numbers with leyland logos from that time.

If any of you have anything that could help, that would be greatly appreciated!

Glad you got a result in the end. I don't recall seeing the BL symbol on any on my 1982/1985 or 1990 chassis, but the stamping of the letters/numbers certainly looked to be done by hand.

I definitely had some BL logo stamps on my chassis, I recall they were around the outrigger area, I have painted over them now though sorry!

This is what they had to work with! (1988 or 87 One-Ten intended for the Dutch airforce)
