Hi
May I ask what. Make of alternator was fitted , plus make and size of battery plse
Have u checked all the alternator connections on the back to ensure there clean , connected properly , etc
What voltage have u got with the engine off and then running
Have u checked the large earth cable that’s hidden behind the drivers side wheel arch liner
U can use a jump lead to go from the earth battery post to a good earth point , normally the engine hoist bracket is a good place but best to use a multimeter prior to that to ensure it’s a good earth connection
Talking of connections there is an extra cable on the positive side of the battery that bolts to the battery clamp , might be an idea to undo that bolt , clean up the cable terminal with a wire brush, then reassemble using some copper slip etc to make sure a good contact , personally used a dremel with a flapper sanding disc
If u have access to a diagnostic reader that will also be useful to see if there are any codes , if there are , plse take a note of them and clear everything , then rescan the vehicle to see if any come back
Finally what year and engine have u got plse , thks and apologies for all the questions, it just gives us a basic understanding of what u have , can of course go deeper in the fault finding but these are just basic starting points to check so the more detail we have the better
Hope that helps
