changing the locks !

Hello , I have had my disco broken into and the spare key (no fob) was stolen from the vehicle. 1st question is if I left the car unlocked would the immobiliser turn on automatically after a period of time without locking the car with the fob ? And second question is how much would a full set of locks cost to replace the compromised one's, doors and ignition barrels?

Try this.
Land rover discovery 2 TD5 ignition barrel and key and door lock | eBay
you will need nanocom to programme keys.put your location as maybe someone near you with nanocom.now run along and introduce yourself before they shoot you down.

Assuming u have a later D1 or D2 then you have a passive immobilising system so the answer is yes, but u need the fob to remobilise the engine.
