changing the fuel filter on a 300tdi

Im going to change the fuel filter tomorrow on the landy as I have been told that I am getting 'searching' whilst i back off the power due to the filter being too dirty .

Do i have to do anything prior to removing the filter or do i remove it and put the old one back on ?

Put the new one on, not the old one!
 
:eek: haha mistype there i think i shaal replace with the new one not the old one lol thanks for the advise .

the sedimenter is near the diesel tank at the back right ?
 
that was mint thanks that is really useful :D

it is on my to do list as im sure evryone else has who owns a landrover lol blanking off the egr , flushing the intercooler , fuel filter are just the easy ones haha
