I just wish I had had the camera, seeinig as I was in the front seats watching him jump in and hit the basement button..........

The look on his face was to die for, and the way he looked round to see if anyone had noticed.... wellthey all did with the noise he caused......

A little update on the Landy; well on things in general. Not too much has happened to the Landy since the last instalment. I've basically spent time tying off loose ends... breathers back on, snorkel re-fitted, etc... as well as tearing out all the rear to form a van back.

I have booked it into its MoT in a few weeks time. Pressing concern is to change all bushes underneath as most are knocking like a barstweard. Apart from that, there isn't that much to do as everything now, apart from the last few bits under it have been changed or refurbed.

It completed a successful trip to Wales and back a few weeks ago which was throughly enjoyed! Just need to get a fresh MoT on it then I'll start on making the winch bumper for it.

That is a very nice upgrade to the disco. I can't believe cost as well you jammy git! You did a great job over a weekend to change chassis so well done.

I work within the industry so I get metally things at cost price. No different to someone working in the electrical sector - they might get cost price or FREE wire..... tyre fitter might get slashed (or slashed price) tyres

Well either way you don't get you skills or determination for free......... Nice project and one that gives a few ideas to the readers. Cheers
