Anyone with an old cat or exhaust system and need them removing for a small sum of money let me know :)

I can even provide a free exchange service for De-catting Disco 1's... I'll provide the brand new de-cat pipe in return for the Cat... so... extra performance and new parts for free :D

Hmmm! So when you remove the particulate filter and the ECU picks up a fault and puts on the warning light which is an mot fail cos it monitors the differential pressures before and after the filter to see when to regenerate it, what do you do about that? Reprogram the ECU to tell it it hasn't got one? Fit an emulator? Or let them buy a new (worst I've seen) filter for just over £2000? And what happens if they change the mot regs to include a visual inspection for cats like they did with petrols last year? You could end up with a que of people wanting their cats and filters back which you've weighed in! Are you sure you've thought this through properly?

Have seen the price of proper disco decat pipes?.
Wots a DPF worth, peanuts, Shirley?

You'd be surprised! Nothing wrong with scrapping them. I just think removing them could land you with problems especially dpf's. if I remove one I leave em with the customer just in case cos a cat costs a lot more than a replacement pipe!

Yep. I'm buying them as a personal individual... I am offering to purchase (or exchange) CATs for De-cat pipes... or for money. If you sell something then the law changes and you need it, you can't expect the person you sold it to to resolve your issues can you.

The proper 300tdi de-cat pipe is part number ESR2297 - even direct from LR themselves they are not that expensive, although I was proposing to supply parts manufactured by AllMakes or Bearmach (NOT ****PART)
