Matt, I'm going though the same thing with my Series, bought it as a non-runner, basically doing everything. First 2 1/4 Diesel blew up, replacement has just blown up, so it's now having a 2.5 N/A fully rebuilt. Already fitted Michelin 9.00 x 16 XL's, 1 ton shackles, Fairey PTO Drum Winch, Series III Military Gearbox, new brakes all round, Cobra Classic 60's style bucket seats, the list goes on.
Yours looks amazing though and what a result on the price.

And thanks, I'm very proud of it. Just doing up the truck cab what came with it now.. Nothing can be less than perfect with me! :rolleyes: Means painting it inside immaculatly!, Scary thing is this is the truck I dont mind denting and that, My other 88 will be totally immaculate! :eek:

Assuming you're no taking the ****. 900's refer to the tyre size on my Series III. Michelin XL 900 x16 or 255/100R16 in metric. Gives a ground clearance of 13'' under the diffs. Needs trimming of the front light panel,wing, rear of front bumper, 1 ton shackles and steering stop adjustment to get them on, but it's worth it, it's pretty unstoppable off-road.
I had a SAAB 900 Turbo back in the late 80's, great car, front seats are the best ever, quick and well built.

Another 40mm. I'm seriously thinking about it, but I think the front prop angle would start to interfere with the crossmember, but I've thought of a fix for that too.
It's got so much clearance now anyway, I don't really need any more. All it would do is make the ruts so deep none of my mates could follow me. They have trouble staying with me now.;)
