Arse!
What are your experiences? I seem to be having to replace mine every 3 years or so.

Had mine for 5 years.

Used fabsil after 3 years to reproof and it went ratty real quick.

Now it is in the garage on a shelf and depending on what I do this winter will define fitting the new one I have or putting ratty old one back on.

Cheers

I would agree with 3-5 years. Mine lives outside son the series and is beginning to show its age at three years old. I am planning on waxing it before the winter using an old fashioned recipe of turps and bees wax, hoping it will get another couple of years out of it. Unfortunately they do not seem to be fit and forget items no matter how well you treat them.

Sold my old one a couple of years ago and it was best part of 15-years old, originally bought from Undercover Covers. Still serviceable although I had replaced a couple of the straps. Was still watertight and had been reproofed with Fabsil only once or twice over its whole life.
As you can see from the photos it was still very sound and the windows not cracked or yellowed.

Current tilt was supplied by All Wheel Trim in Nov 2017, good fit although it has shrunk slightly more than I would have expected but it is ok (as to b expected at only 3-years old) with none of the gaps that you see on some examples. Still have my part tin of Fabsil but from what I can see I won't be needing it for a good few years yet.
