One would assue that one had read the sticky about posting in said section? Ergo one would know that indeed ones post history must be complied of 50 constructive posts.

When I was a newbie with only about 15 constructive posts I made the same mistake and got the same crappy welcome.
Since the sarcastic sh*t that was unloaded on me iv grown a thicker skin to it.
Let's try and start again by first saying hello and welcome.
Rather than the response like this that so many newbies get to any question they ask, let's step back and think first before jumping in.
Any newbie who asks a question nearly always gets the P ripped out of them or stupid answers like read the bloody rules or do a bloody search ( the search system is poor at best), and we all miss stuff so calm down.
A simple welcome to the forum and a gene polite point at rules would have been better not just here but for any newbie, instead of so many just jumping in with the normal sh*t.
This response is the quickest way to loose new members if what we all hoped was a freindly community, not the impression the above posts have given again.
Some have jumped to conclusions that he wants to sell, he could like me want to post a wanted in the section, trying to buy here from trusted land rover fans instead of possible stolen crap via another site.
I'm not apologising for what's been said if you feel guilty for your warm welcome you should be man enough to say so publicly as you think you were big enough to slate yet another new comer.

I'd like to think the newbie found your response light hearted as I did.
I think as I mentioned it's the meerkats with the undertones that can easy be seen to be overboard.
In my case and I'm confident in this one too the needless add on comments are what sends the wrong message.
I missed the rules fir the section because it was so small, in that it was a sub heading. It's been suggested it should be bigger/clearer.
As I said this chap may have been in the same situation as I found myself in, wanting to post a wanted not a sale, as both can be done even if the section is called parts and accessories for sale.
I personally like your response and I'm glad that you got to this thread before some of the more aggressive responses got thrown in.
