Maybe you should look at a map of Australia that has all the land owned by Aboriginals on it. You may also want to look at who owns the land of most mining developments and who gets very large royalties from that mining. Also look at how much is spent on public housing for aboriginals compared to the rest of the population, etc, etc, etc. And yes there are a number of aboriginal communities out there that where each family unit would be worth more than you and do not have to work for it.

ONLY after enough Aussie folk made enough noise to force your government to make some effort at reparation for generations of murder, forced relocation, kidnapping.....and thats just the offically sanctioned stuff.....let alone everyday bigotry and abuse from people who somehow think a persons worth and ability to suffer is defined by their skin colour. :mad::mad:

And yes, that is exactly why they were taken from their families. And if you do a search on more recent events, you will find a recent Government intervention that is again aimed at prevention of aboriginal child abuse and neglect. If both instances there are many claiming that the method is inappropriate and many that support it.

Where do you get this stuff from? Do you believe all the conspiracy theories?

I am all for treating people as people and not based on skin colour. So I will be very happy when whites in this country have access to the same benefits as aboriginals.

Look at all the links in this site for benefits only allow to aboriginals and then try to find a single benefit that is only available to whites.

Aboriginals can travel anywhere in Australia freely. There are large parts of Australia I am not allow to travel on public roads without a permit due to being non-aboriginal.

You obviously know our history better than we do, even though you don't seem to be able to back it up with much. But this is what happens with such threads, when people have nothing constructive to say they try and divert the discussion. So far we have had cricket, then things you can do to a koala and now aboriginals.

My challenge is simple for you, find one thing a white Australian is entitled to that is not available to an aboriginal. I have listed many that works in the opposite direction.

At this point in time you have 60,000 children in the UK taken from their parents and placed in foster care. When the same occurs for aboriginal children you think it is solely based on race and evil. We are not Hollywood movie stars and do not collect coloured children as a social accessory.

You could try reading this for a start and this is now and it was a lot worse back in the 60's and 70's that you want to focus on.

Just an attempt to get this thread back on track. 10% of threads do not get a response in the Rangie section. Only between 60 and 70 people look at any thread out of a membership claimed to be 62,000. The average number of replies to a thread is 7, with 182 views (includes multiple views by one person).
So if only 0.1% of members are looking at any particular thread and 10% of people seeking answers do not get them, how can you claim that the system is working fine.

You claim that it is the biggest forums in the UK and I have no doubt that this is true. This was the basis of my suggestion as there are too many posts in 1 day to go through them all to see if you can help the person. The statistics show that this is true with so many threads not getting a response.

I do not claim to know much about P38's, L322's, D3 or D4's. But I have had 6 Range Rover Classics (currently own 2), one d1 (currently wife's car) and 5 Series Land Rovers. I have been driving them since a series 2a was the current model and been modifying them for a couple of decades (you can see a few trips if you search my user id on youtube). I have done a lot of things that do not work and like helping people avoid making the same costly mistakes. Sometimes the discussions get me to look at things in a different light and are useful to me, but I am not the one asking/or looking for the answers to questions.

So if you want to help those 10% plus of members that are not currently getting it, or you wish to get the other 99.9% of members involved with the forum, maybe you can make it easier for members to navigate to areas of interest/expertise.

Why do your replies keep on saying the same thing. "Do it our way or leave"

Obviously you did not bother to read my last post. If I wanted an answer to a Rangie issue, a forum would be the last place I would look. I have a lot better resources that can usually provide the answers I need.

However, there are a lot of people out there who use the forums to get help. The harder you make it for answers to be given the less help people will get. As already stated, 10% of threads in the Rangie section do not even get a reply and on average only 0.1% of members bother to look at them. So the current system does not work as well as it can. But heaven forbid someone suggest a change that may help this. All you get is abuse or "take it or leave". Nice friendly lot.

Sorry. I misunderstood. I thought yu wanted to improve the chances of getting an answer on the forum, but yu don't think a forum is the best place to get answers?
