freakin mental out there now, not seen it this bad and I have been here 13 months
Well this is a Muncie on a 7L so I win
Snigger, engines shorter than the Rover heap of **** just a little wider. We'll see how it looks once it goes in
Gotta raise the suspension first though I think, leave the boxes as low as possible then add skid guards means I get a decent rear prop length
Can't wait to fire this monster up
Use your own threads for your own updates ffs
freakin hijackers
I lapped in 4 heads worth of valves in the end, I dont want to ever do any more
got a lapping drill thingy.........GOODSON : Mechanical Valve Lapping Tool Makes fast work of a boring job
looks a good tool that, but never seen one over here.
They work great, Done lots of valves/ heads with that on VW air cooled
Used a electric drill with variable speed set very low to do the hard part, then used a hand lapper for final, then spot bluing to check all is well
My old man has one on the drill.. to be honest its more of a pain than by hand.. the grit is harder to control with the drill attachment
hi.how can it be more of a pain using a drill??.just load the valve seat with a small amount of paste then away you go.
