You got some work to do now
I believe the LR use the BOP bolt pattern, not a 100% sure but worth a check
You got some work to do now
no...if it were so simple...
lr pattern is unique to the ****y ilttle 3.5..(and bigger later varients) and the buick lump it was lifted from..(apart from real early ones (i think))
RE BELLHOUSINGS..dont forget input shaft length in equation..you might find good bellhousing but its too long...just pionting this out..
also i recon easier to make bellhousing fit gearbox than vise versa??
Oh yeah! Plenty of pics will follow tomorrow
Building the engine back up as best we can and starting to make up exhaust manifold and inlet manifold templates
It might be but this way the bellhousing already matches the dowel holes so all I need to do is extend the dowel pegs outwards to match the flywheel adaptor offset
Read my last post before this one, think I put it there, if not
Lakewood 77-150 is the bellhousing make and model
No......I've not decided whether to fit that one or fit the cheaper ally version and build a 10mm cage as that'll stop it too
In no rush, adaptor wont take long to make up as we have the steel and a lathe now to do the flywheel adaptor
torque wrench may be a slight issue as mine starts at 50ft/lb and I only need to go to 60ft/lb so I think I'll be working by feel for the first few turns
