Buying advice

Hi all, my partner and I are looking to replace our old 4x4 with a Defender. We have owned a series 3 before but that was a project and this will be my everyday vehicle. Don't mind a 90 or 110, we have about £7500 to spend that seems to mean we are aiming for something around mid 90's. Any advice re what to look for and what we should be aiming to spend would be great fully recieved. Thanks.
