Can't see a problem buying with a known fault when you know the cure, congratulations!
 
Hence the Golden Rule:

Never ever buy a Range Rover with fault(s) UNLESS you are prepared for and understand the POTENTIAL costs, frustrations, time and relationship killing that are involved in repairing it.

Most RR or LR product will develop a fault sooner or later, usually sooner so it's a case of being prepared for the inevitable...even if it is fault free when acquired.
