It also showed a questionable air leak in chassis mode running live data, when the compressor kept wanting to run despite it cutting out at high temp 132c the compressor gallery kept showing it wanted more air when the ride height was set to high.
You are right Nik, could also be the crosslink valves.Just curious: Why is that a questionable air leak? If you compressor is cutting out due to temp, then it is over-working which is a sign of an air leak. You've had 2 bags done, I'd get the other 2 done and the compressor seals too.
Or maybe I'm wrong....

Have you had time to try out the lynx? If so how do you find it?By the time you've added the VAT, delivery and paypal surcharge the Nanocom is now £408 at which point the Lynx starts to look pretty good value which is why I just bought one - haven't had time to look at it yet.
Don't forget the Lynx needs a laptop wheras the Nanocom does not.Have you had time to try out the lynx? If so how do you find it?
I live in rural France and as far as I can see for the price and the supposedly excellent package I need to find a reason not to go for it apart from people commenting on the quality of britpart stuff.

Faultmate is the gold standard, Nanocom Evo does almost as much for less cash but has only the small built in screen, also it is not VIN locked.Got a laptop and power converter for the car so not a problem but thanks for the heads up.
What I'm after is the most complete diagnostic kit for a reasonable price as a friend of mine is a mechanic and can do all the work if I get the right diagnostic kit. I'm not unreasonable, if I have to go for another system and pay a bit more then I will. Not many specialist 4x4 garages here and the nearest is an hour away so it will save me money in the long run. Just would like to know if there is anymore news on the lynx system.
+1 but the simplest to use IMO is the Nanocom EvoThere's no such thing as idiot-proof diagnostics. You have to understand what you're diagnosing and why, or you'll end up chucking parts at symptomatic "faults" just like the monkeys in the main dealers.
Ok. Thanks for the quick response which I didn't expect so went out for the afternoon and ended up at the bar.It's good value but I think the nanocom is a more complete product. I can't see any obvious way to perform a resync which is an unforgivable ommission. Eas can be calibrated as per testbook but you cannot freely edit. So you need easunlock unless you own some calibration blocks. And finally you cannot force the calibration of the blend motors. Lynx is good value but britpart must fix these glaring omissions.

Thanks all the same for your help. At least you should look at this as an investment for when you are going from France into Spain along the Atlantic coast you will know that I'm less than an hour away!

Just bought a nanocom for the D2. Would have liked the lynx but I felt, right or wrong it may need a bit of time to get the bugs out.
