How do all,
Am having problems sorting out my BRC Sequent 56 LPG system.
It's never worked since I bought the vehicle a couple months back, but I've been lucky before and always managed to sort LPG problems out with previous Rover V8's I've bought but I'm stuck with this one.
I took it to my local LPG wizard who I've used before with great results, after changing the filters and trying to talk to the ECU with no result. He diagnosed the reducer/vapouriser as being knackered, advised I replace it and bring it back for a retune. So I replaced the vaporizer with a brand new one of the same type.
Rang up the garage where the Wizard works to book it in and they basically said he wasn't available and they're not sure if/when he'll be back.
Now I'm getting fed up of visiting the petrol station! Anyone know any decent LPG guys in the south west, or anything about these BRC systems?
I have the software and lead and can now communicate with the ECU but it won't let me retrieve any Fault Diagnosis information. Seems the software version is newer than the ECU.
I think the gas flow rate just needs setting on the vaporiser but can't find any info on how to do this online for the BRC system.
Any help, pointers or contacts would be gratefully appreciated
