Brake flaring tool

I am fed up having to pay the garage for new brake pipes and wish to purchase a reasonable brake flaring tool. Can anyone point me in the right direction or recommend one they are using. There seems to be a lot of Chinese crap out there as usual.

It's great. Way better than the yoke type.

I've got the same, great tool and pipes can be flared in situ.

Yoke type are ok, cheap yoke type are just dog sith.

Vice mounted are by far the best.

But at the prices they are selling for, and so long as you only ever need 3/16 brake pipes, the sensible option is to go for the one mentioned be Tenebreaux.

Totally agree, I have the Sykes turret type that’s handles any pipe work with ease, But if you want to put a join on existing pipe work in situ, IE only a small portion of the pipe needs replacing on a long run then the Trident T413701 is definitely worth going for,
Old story.... buy quality and it will last and be fit for purpose,

Kit car builders have to do this all the time.

Watch when you buy the threaded unions, as some are longer than others, not on the threaded section but on the body and they have a plain nose, why I have no idea?
Mainly 3/8 or m10 threads, with 3/16,4.7mm pipe which are one and the same

I've a full selection of fittings... My MX5 uses the short fully threaded ends, and double flares. The BMW,s use bubble flares and the longer ends
