It's an honest bit kit the engine had an oil leak travelled down. Have seen shiny and clean examples on ebay which are apparently 'refurbed'. Honesty is best policy.

Might be worth seeing if Ashcrofts want it to refurb? Think yours has done maybe 165k miles? At that mileage the viscous coupling must be due, the Morse chain probablt needs replacing and probably a few bearings and seals. Essentially a conplete refurb.

Spoke to Ashcrofts and they were not interested. I may just keep it as a spare.
