No clips on mine, it seemed that the plastic had deformed so that the clips no longer latched. I fitted an LED strip across the width of the hatch and glued the old plastic lens in place with a small spot of hot melt glue at one end. I can see every darn dog hair with the LED strip LOL.

Me too. It doesn't fall out & lights up the boot area much better than the original.

Pity the 38 doesn't have a remote upper tailgate release, could use the led lamp as a reversing light then when backing down my gloomy drive at night.

I just put in Y connectors and tapped off of the one lamp, even colour coded the additional wires
It does actually make visibility a lot better, as Keith says though, sometimes a tad too much, LED light is unforgiving!!!
It's that snug I can't get it in! I think something will break if I try any harder....I might have to relieve the aperture slightly, hope I don't end up with a fall outty led lamp
