Hello

New to the forum and to Land Rover Ownership.

I have had a look thru the search but couldnt see anything that anwsered my question so here goes.....

Taking delivery of my Sisters old 56 plate RR Vogue SE next saturday, It has a phone cradle in the middle where my sisters Nokia 6230 (think its a 6230) fits in it, that was her phone, now I have an Iphone 3GS, Would the car also have Bluetooth fitted into it even though it has a phone cradle ?

or am I going to need to install a Bluetooth module or Parrot kit or similar ?

The car has a touch screen with Logic 7 i think its called.

Thanks

Dave

thought she would of thrown in phone in deal at least nokia wont let you down when you most need it

lol

She getting a Brand New RR on Saturday so she'll most likely get a new phone too, so her 6230 wont be used anymore, but I don't want it, its bloody old rubbish, thats why I was hoping it had Bluetooth aswell as the phone cradle.

Brand New Range Rover...MMmmm.....money me thinks.

2 Questions:

1. Is she married?

2. Is she open to offers.

PS.. Most of us here would like to own a newish Range Rover, let alone a Brand Spanking New One............

Dave - your new RR will have bluetooth, and connect to the iPhone 3GS including downloading the contact book (but not the text functionality). Everything is not rosey however, I started a thread recently called 'range rover iphone bluetooth cradle problems'. It's worth a read, however, the synopsis is:

The ios4 iPhone software has introduced a problem - the connection drops and picks up constantly. The solution is a hard reset of the iPhone (hold the home and sleep buttons for 10 secs, ignore the usual shut down swipe, keep holding until the phone shuts down and then turns back on again - the apple logo shows this). Unfortunately you will need to do this everytime before you get in the car. This is an Apple software problem (iPhone 4 as well) that they won't admit.

Hope this helps.
