Blue or Red Antifreeze??

a) yu shouldnt mix antifreeze - as they can form a gel and block waterways - so did yu drain out all the old stuff first?
b) you need to use OAT antifreeze in gaylanders.
c) check wot yu put in - if its incorrect drain it, flush it and refill.
Do you mean Freelanders? Does this work for td4 FL1 06?

Thanks

If it is related content, then yes.
If it is answering people or asking about their issue from 10 years ago - no, you won’t get a reply.

Has anyone tried prestone? There were red/pink ones at the store but it didn’t say OAT, only red color and some ingredients

Prestone make a coolant/antifreeze which is universal. I've use it in the daughter's fiat 500, and it's not caused an issue. I only used it because that's what she bought.
There are cheaper OAT coolants available, but if you don't mind spending more, Prestone coolant/ antifreeze will work.

Well the prestone was the same price as the cheap one.

I was also thinking of changing the coolant, do you know where to drain(FL1 td4 06)? I dont mean flushing just changing. Right now ive driven the car with coolant on nearly the minimum mark on the tank for a little while.
