FYI - Morrisons fuel stations sell Havoline extended Life OAT coolant for about £3.99 a litre
Do you mean Freelanders? Does this work for td4 FL1 06?a) yu shouldnt mix antifreeze - as they can form a gel and block waterways - so did yu drain out all the old stuff first?
b) you need to use OAT antifreeze in gaylanders.
c) check wot yu put in - if its incorrect drain it, flush it and refill.
You have posted on a 14 year old thread. It's a dead 'un.Do you mean Freelanders? Does this work for td4 FL1 06?

Prestone make a coolant/antifreeze which is universal. I've use it in the daughter's fiat 500, and it's not caused an issue. I only used it because that's what she bought.Has anyone tried prestone? There were red/pink ones at the store but it didn’t say OAT, only red color and some ingredients
Well the prestone was the same price as the cheap one.Prestone make a coolant/antifreeze which is universal. I've use it in the daughter's fiat 500, and it's not caused an issue. I only used it because that's what she bought.
There are cheaper OAT coolants available, but if you don't mind spending more, Prestone coolant/ antifreeze will work.
