The best changes for me was putting renault scenic 2nd row seats in and a quick release steering wheel to aid security.
The steering wheel is smaller with a flat bottom making it easy to get in and out.

In to the duct I drilled a 20mm diameter hole into the side I wanted the pipe to exit left hand side of the left hand duct and inserted an adapter I had made from aluminium. Made a second adapter to fit into the side of the dash covering the hole in the dash with the Puma vent it worked but no better than the previous trunking demister fitted to the top of the dash.
Now I removed the original screen ducting and pipe completely made another adapter and piped the side window demister into the sealing bush that now worked very well but no screen demister. I pondered for a while because having a heated screen do I really need a screen demister? should I cut a second hole and have both risking neither working very effectively.
Students won the day because they wanted to go for it, another hole 31.00mm dia was cut lined with a rubber grommet 121108 http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/331/category/117(to secure the pipe)
Both screen and side window demisters were refitted and both worked effectively result.

They are indeedly still held in place with the original landrover catches.

It was choofin tight to fit them all in though.

Great your are building your own 3D printer, the concept of this process is as revolutionary as the invention of the wheel. The changes that this process will make to designs now and in the future is difficult to visualise. I have been very lucky having used a number of them using different materials, I will have to stop, as you can gather I am hooked on them, indecently are you building one to your own design or from a kit?
Sadly I do not have the files as all work was completed on divisional computers and part of students work the files remained with them.

I think mine were pattern ones, I had them on my old Landy and I didn't pay anywhere near that.
Steel bar, bent & drilled, even I could make them with the right tools!

Yeah £33ish before postage is a lot for a bit of flat bar how about a loop of chain? Won't suffer from getting bashed and if you can't put up with the rattling noise use rope instead?

I want to go with the quick release steering wheel but they all look to be uncomfortably far from the wiper/indicator stalks. What was your one like?

You can't reach the indicator from the steering wheel with the boss I have however there is a slim version which should allow you to drive as normal.
