we will be there thursday night till monday with 3 x discos, 1 x 90 plus the misses a few mates and 3 mad springer spaniels and any one else who turns up.if any one wants a cupper the misses will always put the kettle on just look for 3 mad springers probably in water lol

Well, looks like the disco ain't going to be back, after having all 16 hydraulic lifters replaced it still sounds like an industrial sewing machine.. Garage we bought it from are scratching their heads and have taken it to a landy specailist! Glad they are paying not us :D.. Looks like it's going to be the nissan primera courtesy car that will be getting us there.. No going round the offroad course :(

The law is always open to interpretation, when was the last time you heard of someone in the news of being injured through bush cables? There are plenty of vehicles out there that have the likes of roof racks going over the bonnet, but not past it, even small camper conversions have such set ups. I think that 6mm steel plated winch bumper that have never seen a winch in its life poses more danger to a pedestrian, in fact the bonnet of a defender, even a new one, poses more danger to a pedestrian, oh, and those protruding external roll cages.. better get unbolting those too before going to Billing Boys!! Just incase you bash someones head walking in to Greggs that is!
In my opinion i don't think the police actually could do anything about them? Especially if set up properly, nothing should be protruding past the body line in the first place!! Don't the leccy bored fit these on some of there vehicles? Nothing is really oem really is it!!

Rant over :D

I remember a couple of years ago when it was really wet, they said to me that Series motors weren't allowed through the mud hole because they'd get stuck. I said I'd paid my £15 like anybody else and they weren't stopping me.
Off-road course is so dumbed down now it's easy.

ahh billing:) havn't been there in years! won't be going this year has have no way of getting there, hopefully i'll make it next year when i get my 2a :)

Not sure if my landy will make it there??

Was going so three of us @ £15 thats £45 to get in.. :( it was less than a £10 for all pasengers and vehicle once, but now the weather forcast for Saturday 16th is rain and rain so we won't be going now.
Although I've been intrested in Land Rovers for a few years i'm not that interested if it means getting wet, been there and done that at Billing, from the snow and ice in the early days at the show and every year till we had the hurricane a few years back..
Lets hope it will nice and sunny for Peterborough. :)

yipeeeee I will be able save at least £100+ :D

Me and Roy are heading down for the day on Saturday, and will probably mostly be found in the beer tent!
Anyone wanting to say hi, let me know

Will be tin tenting all weekend only going to the show on Saturday too though.

I'll pop into the beer tent, but I'll be drinking soft drinks cos I'll be on the orft road bit in the afternoon.

I'll be listening in on channel 19 unless there's a specific channel being used on the day??

Is anyone else going to be on air, maybe we should elect a LZ channel?
Any suggestions?? :)
