Bikini top with fume curtian?

How much weather protection would this provide? Anyone tried it?

It won't be completely weathertight but it should give reasonable protection.
I only fit my fume curtain in the winter (90 soft-top) and when I have the back rolled up some cold air can get through but I would say it is 80-90% effective.

I take it you specifically wanted a bikini top and the fume curtain was just to keep the worst of the weather out?
Canvas truckcabs are available and better sealed.

Ive had a full length hood for years now and it needs changing, I figured with the worst weather over us a bikini for the summer would be good and a fume curtain to keep whats left of the cold out. A truck cab actually could be cheaper.

Here’s the mrs motor truck cab & rear cover separate with Velcro. In the summer we just roll it either up or down. Warmer than the bikini top

yes i have tried it, and it gives reasonable protection for medium rain, the fume curtain is really good at stopping the spray that is drawn in the cab when there is no fume curtain.

Wouldnt want it in winter though tbh, i have a truck cab canvas on mine which is ace, i just take the door tops off and roll up the back and its like a bikini top in the summer

I run a bikin top in the summer if I have to fit a top onto the 90. The rain does roll under it at speed.

There is also a longer version available from allwheel trim that came out after I got mine. It looks like a good idea that may stop a bit of the rain being pulled into the cab.
