Evening Chaps I hope your well.

Currently in the process of building my 110 Pickup and was wandering what’s the largest tyre I can fit without upgrading the springs and suspension.

My steels have a negative (ET-32) setting.

What’s the biggest for 15’ steel and 16’ steel.

I am adding extended arches, and maybe spacers.

Thank you.

That would be the equivalent of 35"x12.5" tyres which I did not think fitted with standard suspension. I though you could only run up to 33" diameter before it started fouling on the body work at full articulation?
Didn't mention being able to steer the thing :p:p

The diameter of the steel wheel will not make any difference to the overall size of the tyre you can fit. It is the total diameter that is the important measurement which you can get in varying sizes on both 16" and 15" rims. The width of the rim will be a more important however, as you need a wider rim to fit a wider tyre to. If you already have the wheels check what width they are as that will limit the size of tyre you can fit.

What Will you be using it for? If you are not fitting a lift to it I would recommend not fitting the largest tyres you can find as they will cause other problems and catch on the body work. You could probably fit a set or 40" underneath when stationary but as soon as you start to drive you will be tearing the body work off. You would be better off fitting one of the larger standard sizes like 265/75/16 or 285/75/16 unless you are altering the suspension.

P.S. you can see oversized wheels in my avatar pic. They are 35"x12.5"x15" but at that point the vehicle had a 4"lift kit on it and all of the wide angle and castor corrected kit to match. You can see the gap between the tyre and the body is still less than standard.

Thanks guys, will probably just go with 285’s.

Nothing to exciting really, just running people off the road, taking over the road, you know.

I have the existing wheels to sell, I am struggling to find where I can advertise these, there seems to be no options to create an advert, can anyone help?

Thank you

You cannot sell on the forum until you have 50 posts (stops people joining just to sell things rather than contribute).

Oh okay, suppose gumtree, eBay it must be then.

But if you do know anyone seeking 5 Boost Alloys and Tyres, covered 20k send them my way, greatly appreciated.
