make sure you can turn the bolt if you decide to cut through it.

Why?
You can drill the rubber out and smash the insert and the remnants of the bolt out the other side or just press the whole lot out once it has been removed.

Oh god, I got a welding scar from one of those jobs, ended up slicing through the tube to get the bolt out and used a solid copper earthing spike in the tube so I could weld it back up, fitted my jate rings with a good dollop of copper slip but think I should have countersunk them for O rings and put grease nipples on them so they could be greased and kept free, they are in "that" place where they get all the muck and spray off the roads.

Got all crud off the tubular crossmember and have a good dose of Fertan. ...... had to remove that exhaust bracket to get in with my electric file.!!
Busy tomorrow , if weather’s good Friday I’ll wash it off and try and get first coat Bonda on.

Fertan washed off. Quick rub 120 grit and first coat red.
Had to prize floor up a bit to get in there !!!!

It is literally them mate. I used them all the time to scuff paint in between coats.

Only the inner ring of the spring isolator, they were only fitted to 300Tdi.

Second coat of black . Glad to get that on before the stormy weather.

Also second coat on A frame bars.

While having a sit, I made up the n/s rear brake line.......cunifer pipe and s/steel union.

Left this end unfinished till I get callipers on.

How long do you leave that Bonda primer to cure before you can paint it?
