If your engine blew up today and you had the choice and money to afford any engine that is availible, what would you get and why?

I'd replace it with another 200tdi, because I cant think of any reasons why not
 
Id go for a zuzu 2,8tdi.
The Isuzu engine is a ****ing excellent engine! I had one in me RRC, awesome engine very reliable.
But i have not lived with a 200tdi engine and I am very much looking forward to my conversion that I plan before june:D

Very nice feeling to know that everything under the bonnet & transmission tunnel was brand-new even on a 20-year old vehicle. Cost over twice what I originally paid for the vehicle in the first place but so what?:D
Shame they stopped producing them a couple of years back.
