Best/cheapest place for parts (online)?

Thornton 4x4 At Bradford. I Found Them Through Requiring A Diff And Vcu. They Supply Recon Units At £250 + Vat For Each Part But This Comes With A 12 Month Warranty.

Merely pointing out that the original poster was thinking of buying from an internet retailer that actually sells on Ebay... I think some of his stuff is actually cheaper on Ebay, as he uses it as a form of advertising as so many companies do - myself included! (I don't sell anything to do with Landy's though, unfortunately!)
 
Thanks everyone for your comments! I did subsequently notice that Island sell on ebay. In actual fact I've never had a problem with ebay, have even bought cameras from HK without issues. Don't know what I was worried about, really...

Anyway, subsequent question... VCU bearings. My Haynes book says it needs a press to remove/install bearings. If I buy new'uns can I install them myself with the usual big hammer & socket combination? It's always how I've put in wheel bearings in the past.

Rave warns against hammering against the VCU itself - ie holding VCU body in a vice (or some other holding device) to hammer the bearing(s) off - as it knackers the VCU! Me, I always weaken pressed bearing that are accessible with a disc cutter - but a puller is the best and safest advise.
