Its all meaningless..you get an idea but til you get offers you wont know..go to 3 or 4 dealers and see what they say..if its part ex you'll get offered a bit more for it.
not selling beast- she's my 6th child
but insurance company needed a value- tried to fob them off with a " its the average price for its age and mileage" but they wanted a proper figure and hadnt got the absoltute foggiest - not even to the nearest £5K

Im not sure but the higher the rebuy value the higher the premium . I have been led to believe its better to give a realistic value .
Cheers for that chaps- will contact them tomorrow with some adverts
something Storm said earlier about his being worth more now than when he bought it......
if I got it for £20k from a dealer in 2000 ( had 500 miles on clock ??- Iwas second owner ???) and its now worth say 8ish
is that crap, reasonable or great depreciation over 10 years ???
Its worth more than 8.
I'd say thats good...youve lost 50% over 10 years..most new cars lose 30% in the first year. Put another way..less than 100 a month...
Thats £25 a week to buy a brill beast- thats such a major bargin
I was a bit landy naive last time when I got this one- went to one local landy dealer and coz needed one quick ,as old one had died - they found one in Bristol and I took it - no looking at alternatives or price comparissons or price negotiations - I must have been a salesmans wet dream
Or she bribed him with cake and failed to deliver
