battery drain-again!

Hi, I have a 97 rangie 2.5DSE with yet another mysterious battery drain. When it is turned off and locked, the small light next to the automatic gear stick glows faintly. I have heard that this is due to the rangie "waking" up and draining itself, and something about a three pin plug that can be sidconnected to prevent this. Knowing nothing mechanical, can someone point me in the right direction as to where I will find this plug? Remember, don't hit me with technical terms, easy directions please! Thanks, Simon.

mine was doing the same mine was the heated windsreen turning itself on i just took the two relays out and its been fine try removing them and see what happens if it still persists get back to me i have a few other possibilities

try these - if it's the remote receiver causing the BeCM to wake up you will find out all about it. The red gear indicator light will stay on for about 2 minutes after Rangie has been locked and will go out when the BeCM is asleep.
