Checked they would cover my disco with a lift and bigger tyres for green laning..

No problem.. done all mods and rang em to advise and now say they won't cover me even though previously agreed..

Gone mad!

Made a complaint so they gonna listen to last call and see if i advised all changes I've made!

Knob eds!

An now they won't cover green lanes even though they a roads!

still waiting for em to ring me back re my complaint, but rang adrian flux for a quote..

last time i rang them they said they would only cover mods if its was a second car..

told em i got use of partners co car on there company insurance same as i told em last time..

now they will insure me.. lot less than my unmodified insurance with direct line.. went through all this when my insurance was up for renewal a couple of months ago..

and they include green lane, offroad, breakdown and recovery!

aaargh!!!!!

hope direct line cancel my policy now...

Fee should be about £16 - gone through all this hassle changing insiurance from a Hilux to a defender last month.

All insurance = Govt. sponsored legal theft. Coz they are all cnuts. You just have to look at PPI.

well they eventually rang me back...

no record of conversation confirming mods would be covered... what a surprise, not..

cancelled policy, as a gesture of goodwill they will forgo the admin charge.. woop di fekin doo!

cant have my proof of no claims bonus til i return my policy.. what happened to dealing with everythin over the phone? hmmmm

now insured with adrian flux..

direct line have always been great, been insured with them for years.... but not anymore...

Green lanes are not a legal term they are, to all intents and purposes, slang. Green lanes constitute roads and unless the word metalled occurs in the policy document then your insurance is deemed to apply there as well.... (legal advice gotten today!)
