Ive ordered paint Thanks!
Usually rarely if ever buy from those companies however same price as standard flanges. Worth a go!
Hearf equally bad things about Ashcroft ones as well!
Everyone said this to me worse because I forgot to grease the splines! Doing that tonight.
Not so much the flange itself, more of the screw on cover, I nipped mine up and then needed to get the big bar on them to crack them off.
Cheers
Cheers. Ill had some copper slip to them as well.
the rubber washer is total pants, put your own one on. The castings are very good, i think they are zinc electroplated? so best just remove all traces and paint, when i did myne I etched first etc the paint fell off with a minor brush with a socket. Gve up and bought new ones and shot blasted, polished the painted them with high build primer firstNot so much the flange itself, more of the screw on cover, I nipped mine up and then needed to get the big bar on them to crack them off.
