Bad tram lining after new tyres

I have Khumos on mine had Pirelli on my last one. I prefer the Pirellis but they are more expensive - Khumos work well just dont look as good - not sure if yours are the same as mine.

I changed all four and it seems better when they are matched.

Your Tyres sound expensive though - but I assume you are still going 18 inch mine are 16 inch and so half the cost - it's a lot of money for an extra inch clearance or not if they are low profile - is it just the look you are after? - post a pic

18" rims as standard on the Sport, so I'm stuck paying extra for the tyres ;)

I've reached an agreement with local tyre place, placed an order online for 4 x Kumho myself at £421.74 delivered and he will fit them for £30 (Refunding the tyres he's taking back off)

So assuming they arrive quickly and it goes smoothly it's about the best outcome I can hope for.
Just gotta hope that the Freelander has not been damaged by the ordeal!!!

to be fair you would of been better off getting some 16" alloys with tyres from ebay and then use them until you can afford to swap back to the 18's or just save and put back when you sell.

Not a bad idea, however I had read somewhere that the sport may have larger discs and calipers....

Blue407, the more you drive it like it is, the more you risk feking the transmission. Either remove the prop/vcu and refit when you replace the tyres, of risk eggspensive failure. I know it's a pain but I wouldn't drive mine with tyres fitted the same as yours are at the moment.

I got a SortPremium with 16" 5 spoke's.... tyres are alot cheaper and theres a better range, your ok aslong as the alloys are from one of the same year range ... so dont put ones from an original on a facelift :)
