It's common to see 'England' or 'assembled in UK'. Means nothing, assembled just means the last bits were clipped on in UK, having been manufactured in China

I agree, the picture however is of something actually made here from a time when it was common.
To say nothing is made here is incorrect, or the CNC machines at work are not creating anything but swarf......
Not that you would want anything from our place unless you generate noxious waste!

It is quite common to see axle stands rated as a pair, rather that each. So it could explain their difference in rating. Or one company has a much tighter margin of failure than the other, so they YOLO'd it in the name of profit.

Could be different grade metal and better quality of welds. I'm no metallurgist so I couldn't say for sure. Though the cynic in me wants to think they just ballsed out the safety margin hoping to score more profit.

I am SO pleased he only expects men to watch his videos. I couldn't get past the picture of the axle stands. He is boring as f#ck , and slow as a week in jail.
