Its just been pointed out that i'm a fool (in a nice way)
Discovery 02 - TD5
Just want to check that i'm about to have all sort of probs - my autobox seems to take a few more seconds to engage when i first start it up - in need of attendtion or just pesamissam? i had to replace the gearbox oil cooling pipes in the summer after one of them went and losing the gearbox contents over the road.
Also - Aircon not working - not that i'm in direr need of it for the next 6 months - just a re-charge? i faffed about with the rad in the summer (ref above) and wondered if i'm dislodged something...
And - my ACE pump seems to be fireing almost constantly... having had a new one not too long ago thinking i don't want to have to do that again in a hurry... is that normal?
Should the front near break/anit-locking system/traction control in the same area kick in when its shocked - ie dropping off a curb?
Last thing - i feel bad, she's carried me around the M25 for 90k miles with the only site of a puddle being at the end of my road, so thinking of letting her loose in a field and some tracks with the Southern England off road club - what's the min spec for off-roading parts would be recommended? Can't think that i'll be turning her on her roof, cut don't want to bust something when i could have avoided. i still need to get her to take me to work and back...
Thx
